Dice Hockey™ Challenge

It took only one playthrough to get me hooked on Dice Hockey. While I have limited knowledge of hockey, I enjoyed the game because the ratio of luck to strategy is very balanced.

I found myself laughing and cheering while learning varying levels of strategy.

Dice Hockey is sure to evoke memories of some of the great rivalries in the game of hockey. It combines a game of chance with as much sophistication and tactical manoeuvring as you care to invest – the game can be played at Basic to Advanced (Pro) levels.

Hours of enjoyment for all ages and skill levels!

I first played Dice Hockey when it was still in development and had a blast; It is remarkably like Ice Hockey with similar fast pace and strategical components with the “bounce of the puck” luck replaced by the “roll of the dice”.

Dice Hockey draws out the competitive spirit and is one of the better two person games I have played with a great balance of strategy and luck. It plays well on first try but layers of strategy will keep it interesting for years to come.

Anyone who loves the game of Hockey and likes fast and fun competition should give Dice Hockey a roll!

I have played this game well over 100 times, and I think it’s one of the best board games I have played. It captures the essence of hockey, but they’re added elements, such as action cards that can be drawn, which can have positive or negative consequences and things can change quickly. Each game has different scenarios.

I highly recommend this game but be careful, it can become highly addictive!

Dice Hockey: you can almost hear the roar of the fans, the swish and slash of the skates, the slap and crack of the shots.

Dice Hockey takes all the fundamentals of hockey out of the arena and onto the board. It has variety of play, opportunity to improve, and lots of excitement. It is challenging, but anyone can learn it, play it, and win it. And everyone will love it.

Working out a game plan with my partner and strategizing how best to outscore the opposing team was reminiscent of the dressing room discussions critical to wins by many of the hockey teams I’ve had the pleasure to play with.

Consistent with on ice play, the approaches you implement for net minding, defence and offence, along with your awareness of the opponents positioning and skill, all contribute to your potential for success. We look forward to the opportunity to expand playing opportunities with our network of friends.

The game will certainly be our go to gift this year for siblings, nieces, nephews and friends for whom we are always looking for a fun, memorable and lasting gift.

Dice Hockey is an exhilarating board game that combines strategy and luck seamlessly. The fast-paced gameplay kept us on the edge of our seats, and the intuitive rules made it easy to dive into the action. A perfect blend of excitement and fun for game nights!

As a huge Hockey Fan and someone who even still enjoys Table Top Hockey I was excited to try my hand at Dice Hockey.

I’m not a big fan of board games and always found Chess involved too much thinking and strategy. So I was pleased to find out that while Dice Hockey required some of that, it wasn’t so overwhelming that it took the fun out of the game.

The colorful Game board is well laid out and easy to navigate. It’s design is quite eye catching. I really enjoy the Hockey Action Cards which help make Dice Hockey even more challenging.

You don’t have to be a Hockey expert to excel at Dice Hockey, since there’s a basic game and Advanced Pro version for the ultimate Hockey Fan.

I found Dice Hockey to be exciting right out of the box! The fast-paced movement of the players on the board strategically uses the dice roll to either get you into position to score or sets up an impenetrable defense to stop your opponent in their tracks. It makes for an exciting battle of wits reminiscent of the actual game.

Dice Hockey is exciting and engaging across all demographics. With multiple different playing options it will have you strategizing and playing with anyone and everyone who will say yes. If you are looking for a new game I highly recommend it.
